What is Book Wings?
Book Wings is a once yearly program offered only in the summer.  The program is for 3-4 year olds who will be entering Head Start or 4K in fall.  Children are able to ease into the classroom environment and build essential skills to help them succeed and achieve in their classrooms.

Certified Early Education Teachers take students through the daily classroom routine, lead students in activities, teach crucial literacy concepts, and help children feel comfortable with the school environment.

Teachers use 5 different quality children's books to help children become familiar with literacy concepts and understand how much FUN reading can be!  Each student will have small take home assignments each evening and will be able to keep the books covered to develop their own personal library.

The program is offered over two weeks (Monday-Thursday each week) from 9am-Noon.  Children attend each day WITHOUT their parents.  If you have questions about whether this program is right for your child, or if you would like more information, please call our office at 448-7340.
