Focus: Positive parenting using the STAR (Stop, Think, Ask, Respond) method, positive and consistent discipline, effective communication, setting appropriate limits, and so much more!

Childcare is provided FREE of charge with pre-registration. Please note that you will need childcare and detail name(s) and age(s) of child(ren).
Children can be the most amazing gifts and at the same time everyone who is a caretaker for children know that they can be challenging as well. This 6 week class offers great tips and tools to help you learn and grow as a child
caretaker. Covered in the 6 weeks are a crash course in your child's development, practicing consistent and effective discipline, managing challenging behaviors, and learning to love and live in the special moments. Whether this is your first child or your fifth, whether you take care of children for a living or are just interested in childhood development, we hope you can learn something through this course.
Childcare is provided for those who need it free of charge. Simply pre-register the children (names and ages) requiring care and our qualified staff will provide care during program hours.
